ParentvilleMom Parentville received ItzaZoo to try out, which is a follow up game to Sabi's ItzaBitza software for kids age 4+ (for use on Windows, XP, 7). This is a terrific game to teach reading (each word is called out audibly when you hover the mouse over) and counting (use the mouse to find or make a certain number of objects appear). Not only that, since your child can draw your own interactive objects right into each scene with his mouse, he learns creativity, imagination, hand/eye coordination and independence. There are five different animals/levels to choose from in boy or girl, and he can answer questions asked by making the subject do certain things, teaching cause and effect. The more goals reached, the more "stars" achieved and Challenges met, plus "camera" points earned when he has the chance to take a picture of his work. The goal is to unlock each subsequent level. Quite a rewards system! This game can be played in stops and starts across several days or weeks without seeing the same scene twice!
